Currently, I am a Social Media Copywriter for American Marketing Association Chicago. Previously, I led the brand repositioning initiative for Northwestern University’s School of Communication, amplifying the Dean’s #SoCSeriousPlay mission by showcasing the innovative work of the SoC’s students, faculty, and staff on all their digital channels. Written work is important in the shaping of a brands digital presence. I use the articles I write to position brands as thought leaders and key storytellers in their respective fields.

Advocate Media is a local news source for four Dallas, Texas neighborhoods. I wrote numerous digital and physical copy for theor four Dallas, Texas, neighborhoods. I covered everything from local happenings to neighborhood standouts.
BlackBoard magazine is Northwestern’s first Black student Magazine and my very first foray into presiding over a newsroom as Editor-in-Chief. It is one of my most treasured season’s of leadership.
Writing for the illustrious JET Magazine was one of my highest honors and privileges. I was afforded the opportunity to write celebrity pieces and to maintain portions of the website including JET Beauty of the week. This piece is an example of both.
Politics is an arena where communications both comfort and confront their audience. This release was written to introduce a Texas State Senator’s new program. I wrote and researched speeches, releases, and memos to ensure proper constituent interaction.
Design Work
Creativity is the foundation of my work. These visual assets were developed to support clients as they elevated their marketing, built brand awareness, and drove engagement across digital and print platforms; blending visual storytelling with strategic goals.
