ABOUT BREAJNA

Breajna Dawkins is a marketing communications leader and social media expert with over a decade of experience in integrated strategy and brand elevation. Currently, she serves as a Social Media Copywriter for AMA Chicago, where she crafts high-impact content to engage the city’s marketing community. Previously, as the Social Media Communications Senior Specialist for Northwestern University’s School of Communication, she developed and implemented an integrated strategy that drove double-digit follower growth and engagement across seven social media platforms and their redesigned website, directly increasing student enrollment and faculty recruitment.

In 2025, Breajna founded Exclusive To Do, a media company focused on helping brands and content creators expand their online presence. As a Social Media Manager and Strategist, she is helps companies begin their foray into social media engagement, increase their following and engagement metrics, and convert followers to clients across platforms. She also build websites (like this one) for them from scratch.

A graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School, Breajna holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC). During her graduate tenure, she served as a consultant for QSR and Luxury Retail brands and was selected to study international marketing at Sciences Po Paris. She further solidified her global expertise by earning the INSIDE LVMH Certificate, specializing in luxury branding, operations, and sustainability within the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton ecosystem.

Earlier in her career, Breajna served as the Corporate Communications Specialist for the University of Texas at Dallas Jonsson School. There, she designed internal and external strategies that accelerated recruiting and fundraising while cultivating partnerships with industry giants including Google, Meta, Amazon, and JPMorgan Chase. Her leadership in a full department rebrand leveraged data-driven insights to overhaul email marketing and digital deliverables, significantly boosting stakeholder engagement.

Dedicated to community and equity, Breajna is the founder of the Northwestern University Medill Black IMC Alumni Alliance—a first-of-its-kind network designed to support Black scholars in the IMC field. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is an avid photographer, blogger, professional sports, and design enthusiast.
